ME

Here's Pictures of My Wedding days!   Yes there are more than one ;)

BOTH to the SAME great Man!!!

Back in 1993 was the first time and then we renewed our vows on our 10 year anniversary!  I wore my original wedding dress and my hubby wore a white tux and we got married all over again on the beach.  It was so lovely and romantic!   We plan to renew our vows in a new place every 10 years as our fun tradition.  You should make it your tradition too!

This second wedding was very significant to us.  back in 1993 both my husband and I
were not Christians.   shortly after being married I became a Christian but my husband
was not - he didn't even believe that God existed.  Over the years I just tried to be
the best wife I could be, and just love him.  Secretly I had a prayer though - I never told him
about it, but I prayed that by the time we were married for our decade he would be a
Christian.  This way it would be a special wedding -  the 1993 was a legal binding marriage
but it didn't include God at all.  This time around If we could both be Christians and make
our vows before God it would just complete it all in my heart.

So the years went by and I started to give up hope... It was  now only about 3 months away from
our 10 year wedding anniversary, and he still hadn't become a Christian.  I started to
think that maybe it just wasn't meant to be, but I didn't want to give up all hope.  So I
secretly went to some girlfriends and ask them if they could say a prayer for him to
believe in God and not to tell him though.  I never wanted him to feel pressure about it.  It
was very important for me to know that if he were ever to become a Christian it would be
from his own heart and faith and not something he was doing just to make me happy.

Well about a month and a week before the 10 year mark - he came home one evening and
told me and the kids to get in the car cause he was going to go for a dunk!  What?
I was really amazed that after all the years of studying and wondering if there was
a God - he decided that there must be.  So he confessed Jesus as Lord that very night!

The Next month we went on our 10 year anniversary trip - It was to the Bahamas.
My dream came true... My prayer was answered.  We both were able to stand
side by side as two christians and exchange loving vows that included God in
our Marriage for the first time.
